Steph’s dad was her hero, and her mom was her best friend. She never forgot a family member’s birthday, and loved each of her nieces and nephews beyond comprehension. She was overly generous, and extremely sensitive to others’ feelings.

Steph had a terrific memory and would continually reminisce about her childhood, often making mention of how she longed to return to those simpler times. She could find humor in most every situation, which was one of her family’s favorite qualities about her. Steph had a quick wit, a contagious laugh, and loved to tease. No one could clean Steph’s house better than she could, so she would work tirelessly to make sure her home was always in perfect order. Steph embraced the magic of Christmas, and found a lot of happiness in using her artistic talent to elaborately decorate Christmas trees. Her dog, Minnie, was one of her greatest joys. She appreciated the quality of a good steak, the adrenaline rush of fast cars, and the excitement of an intense football game or Utah Jazz basketball game. Steph loved to boat, fish, ski, and snowmobile - as long as she looked good doing it. Her favorite places to visit were Disneyland, Las Vegas, and Bear Lake. One of Steph’s favorite things to do was travel, especially with Mylee. She spent most of her time helping raise Mike’s four children, along with Mylee. Steph married Michael Jason Hall in 2009. She welcomed her beautiful daughter, Mylee Nicole, into the world in 2003 with love and devotion. Steph had always dreamed of becoming a mother. Steph especially enjoyed helping Grandma and Grandpa White, Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Wayne with their hair. She bonded with and developed lasting friendships with each of her clients. Steph went on to graduate from Stacy’s College of Beauty and worked outside the home as a cosmetologist, becoming a master of her craft. She graduated from Weber High School in 2000. Steph attended Weber County schools, including Lomond View Elementary and North Ogden Junior High.

We start the process at the beginning of each year and usually have our team selected by mid-March. All hiring decisions are made before season opening and generally no openings are available during the season. We do hire first-time employees and preferential points are given to those turning 15 during the season and older, and returning employees. Workers hired must obtain a Food Handlers Permit by Weber/Morgan County Health Dept. Employees are selected after passing several steps in the hiring process: 1) application form turned in ( available online below), 2) Management/Owner Interviews (scheduled early spring each year), 3) Work skills trials, and 4) Ranking with other applicants. Use contact form for off-season questions or emergency treats openings.Įach season Northern Ice employs between 6-12 part-time employees from the surrounding area.
